Stacey has worked with HealthyMinds' First Responder Program since 2019. Stacey has worked closely with law enforcement for 30 years and is passionate about first responder's mental wellness. Through annual wellness checks, she hopes to bring awareness to one's resiliency and tap into internal strengths that help one embrace a healthy and satisfying life. Stacey also attempts to break the stigma of mental health and promotes self-care amongst first responders.
Stacey has over 29 years of experience working with adults and children in the Child Welfare field and four years of experience working with adults on acute and long-term psychiatric hospital settings. She has a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a master’s degree in Community Mental Health from Southern New Hampshire University.
As a certified CCS provider, Stacey provides service facilitation and individual skills development. Stacey has extensive experiences with case managing and has really enjoyed working with individuals that have challenges with their mental health. Stacey believes in instilling hope and actively listens to her clients as they embark on their journey to recovery. She works within a partnership with her clients as she views her clients as the "expert" on their path to recovery. Stacey recognizes that there are multiple pathways to recovery based on individual's unique strengths, needs, preferences, experiences and cultural backgrounds.
